When I first met with Allison and Josh to see if we’d be a great fit for one another, I liked them immediately. They asked if I’d want to meet them at Lenny Boy Brewing Company (heck, yes!), and they had a laid back vibe that I could get with. What made me extra excited was when they asked if we could do engagement photos exploring some of their favorite places in Charlotte. Of course I was on board and I was thrilled when they suggested we ride the light rail from South End to NoDa! I had never ridden Charlotte public transportation to that point, and it was hilarious watching bystanders curiously eyeballing us as we captured goofy moments on the train.
We stopped in cool places like the alley by the new Barcelona restaurant, wrote on the chalk wall on the rail trail and stopped by some favorite haunts like Trade and Lore and NoDa Company Store. We were in for an extra treat when we ended at the Company Store because it just so happened that they were having their Unicorn Prom! So a unicorn sangria was a must. (Obviously.)
Spending the evening with them was a joy, and I cannot wait until their wedding in Wilmington in January!
