This wedding has a special place in my heart because I’ve known Reed’s family since I was in middle school. So I practically grew up around him (I went to middle school and high school with his brothers and we all went to church together for a time). It was so fun reconnecting with people I hadn’t seen in a while, and also spending time around people that are mutual friends of ours!
I met Cass for the first time last year when we both attended our friend Lindsey’s bachelorette party. She and I clicked right away. Cass has a wicked sense of humor, loves to have fun and really draws Reed out of his shell. It’s so beautiful how two people can complement each other so freaking well. It’s no secret that I like to laugh, but dang my sides hurt and my eyes were streaming this day. I also got all misty-eyed during the ceremony because, well, you’ll just have to see for yourself!
It was so special that they had their ceremoy in Reed’s parents’ backyard with a handful of family and close friends, and for their reception they invited a few more friends to meet them at a beautiful venue in Canton, Ohio–Joseph Saxton Gallery. In between the ceremony and reception, we stopped by one of our mutally favorite watering holes, George’s, and then took some photos around the Canton Arts District.
I loved this day so much!
