I’m kicking-off my coffee shop photo series with one of my favorite local coffee gurus, Not Just Coffee. In this post I’ll be highlighting their newest location, Jay St!
What first strikes you as you walk into this space is just how open, bright, warm and welcoming it is. When a coffee shop has garage doors as its windows and concrete floors, it could easily feel a bit cold and uninviting, but that’s not the case here!
The mid-century touches throughout including a emerald green couch and canary yellow arm chairs adds to the charm of Jay St.
What I also love is how this location offers coffee, food, wine and beer–so no matter what time of day, you can enjoy the company of friends or hunker down to work solo. Another unique aspect of Jay St is that it is connected to a Hygge Coworking. It’s truly an entrepreneur’s dream coffee spot.
If you’re on the west side of Charlotte and have a hankering for a oatmilk latte, there’s no better place to stop than Not Just Coffee! (Oh, and say “hi” to my friend Matt who works here. He’s a gem!)
Stay tuned for more coffee shop blog posts–I’ve had the pleasure of stopping in many all over the U.S. and will be digging into my archives to share some of my favorites!
