Meghan just so happened to be one of the very first brides to book me for her wedding when I first moved to the Carolinas last year. After one phone conversation, she was convinced that we would be the perfect fit to capture her wedding day. (She loved that Corey would be my second shooter–me too!)
When the wedding day arrived, I was greeted with an exuberance that you can only find on special days such as these. Meghan and Daniel’s crew of humans proved to be some of the kindest, most amusing bridal party I’ve had the pleasure of encountering, which made the day relaxed for everyone involved.
M and D opted for a first look, and their giddiness to see one another for the first time was palpable. You couldn’t help but laugh with joy along with them. (More on first looks here.)
Their ceremony was short and sweet and took place beneath old trees on the property, which was the perfect setting to share their first kiss (or two) as wife and husband!
Honestly, I can’t remember the last time a reception was as bumpin’ (do the cool kids say that anymore?) as this one. The dance floor was PACKED and there was only a handful of people sitting at the tables watching on. Even their grandparents got in on the action!
I had one awesome evening with Meghan and Jeff, and I am so happy for them as they start their next chapter together!
